QUETTA: At least four personnel of Levies and Balochistan Constabulary were injured in a clash with suspect militants in Naal area of Khuzdar district on Tuesday.

Levies authorities said they had seized two vehicles and 25 sub-machineguns after the gun battle.

People travelling in the vehicles opened fire when they were intercepted by Levies personnel, they said. An exchange of fire continued for over an hour, after which the suspects left the vehicles and escaped.

The injured personnel were taken to the district hospital in Naal.
