Balochistan NAB recovers Rs94m

QUETTA: The National Accountability Bureau, Balochistan, has recovered Rs94.12 million between April and June, NAB said in its newsletter.

The NAB arrested 14 suspects for their involvement in different corruption cases.

The regional bureau filed five corruption references in the accountability court Balochistan.

During the past quarter, the NAB received 268 complaints, out of which 88 were processed and converted into complaints verification. Forty-seven complaints linked with the cases were already under investigation and 14 were referred to the departments concerned.

The Bureau authorised 35 fresh inquiries during the past quarter and converted 13 inquiries into investigation. Of the 13 investigations, the regional bureau converted three investigations into references while other cases are under investigation.
