Couple shot dead

GUJAR KHAN: A couple was shot dead in the village Kauntrila of Jatli police station on Thursday. According to the Jatli SHO, two armed men opened fire on Tahir Ejaz, killing him on the spot.

Later, they barged into the house of a woman Rahmat Jan and shot her dead nad managed to escape. Police have registered a case under section 302PPC and further investigations are underway.

According to the inspector an old enmity between the two parties was the apparent cause of double murder.
