KARACHI: Condemning the atrocities of Israel in Gaza, a multi-party conference organised by the Jamaat-i-Islami on Monday appealed to the people to participate in Sumaximum number in the ‘Gaza million-man march’ on Aug 17 to show solidarity with the Palestinians.

The conference was presided over by JI leader and former Karachi nazim Niamatullah Khan and attended by representatives of several political and religious parties, including the Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.

Speaking on the occasion, Niamatullah Khan said the conference proved that the entire nation and Ummah was united over the issue of Palestine. “Everyone wants lasting peace in Gaza and stopping of Israeli aggression,” he added.
