Sohail Gul appointed Vice Chief of Air Staff

ISLAMABAD: Air Mar­shal Sohail Gul Khan has been appointed Vice Chief of the Air Staff on Thursday with the PAF’s Directorate of Media Affairs saying that a notification to this effect has been issued by the government.

Air Marshal Khan was commissioned in the Pakistan Air Force in 1979 in the GD(P) branch.

He is an accomplished fighter pilot and a qualified flying instructor. He is a graduate of Combat Commanders’ School, UK Staff College and National Defence University (NDU). His career has encompassed a wide range of operational, training and command assignments.
