KASUR: Ten members of a family were injured over a land dispute between two brothers at village Roshan Bheela in the Thai Sheikhum police limits.

Muhammad Shafi had a row with his brother, Muhammad Hayat, over a piece of inherited land.

On Friday, the two brothers exchanged harsh words and dozens of people from the two sides came with clubs and iron bars, turning the village into a battlefield.

Shafi, Khushi Muhammad, Noor Ahmad, Riaz, Bashir and Abbas of the Shafi group while Hayat, Asim, Anwar, Sharifan Bibi of Hayat group suffered injuries.

Rescue 1122 shifted the injured to DHQ Hospital.

ARRESTED: Pattoki City police arrested five suspects with a car having a police hooter and fake official registration number plate, seizing illegal sophisticated arms from it.

Following a tip-off, police set up a picket to stop the car and arrested the suspects identified as Abdullah, Qazafi, Nadeem, Jawad and Asif.
