NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: The legal fraternity in Naushahro Feroze, Moro, Kandiaro and Bhiria City on Thursday boycotted court proceedings against the killing of a colleague in an armed attack carried out on sectarian grounds in Karachi a day earlier. The call was given by the Sindh Bar Council (SBC) against what it described as the ‘targeted killing’ of Advocate Raza Mubarak.

SBC member Abdul Salam Luhrani, district bar general secretary Abdul Sattar and other leaders including Shakeel Ahmed Jokhio and Aijaz Tunio led a demonstration to condemn killing of lawyers with regular intervals.

SHIKARPUR: The legal fraternity in Shikarpur also boycotted court proceedings at the district and sessions court against the killing of the senior lawyer by terrorists.

Shikarpur District Bar Association president Advocate Syed Aijaz Ahmed Shah, and other leaders including advocates Nazeer Ahmed Bhayo, Ahsanullah, Nadir Abro, and Shakeel Ahmed spoke at a gathering of lawyers held here on Thursday to condemn the killing.
