KARACHI: Seasoned cric­k­eter Babar Agha smashed a fighting half century to guide Pakistan Cricket Club into the final of RLCA Ramazan T20 Cricket Tourn­ament when they routed Moham­mad Hussain CC by 34 runs at Gulberg Ground on Monday night.

Pakistan CC, hot favourites to win the title, were helped by an enterprising 56 off 39 deliveries from Baber that included half a dozen boundaries and six as they mustered 152 for the loss of eight wickets in their 20 overs. Slow left-arm pinner Abdul Qadir bowled smartly to finish with figures of 4-24 in four overs.

Mohammad Hussain CC in reply were bowled out for 118 with nine balls to spare. Opener Abdul Saad hit a valiant 42 off 27 balls with five boundaries and three sixes. Imran Javed made 23 in 25 balls with two boundaries.

But after their departure rest of their batting crumbled against the spin of Fawad Khan and pace of Rumman Khan. Fawad took three wickets for 25 runs and left-arm paceman Rumman snapped-up three wickets for 27 runs.
