RAWALPINDI: An expatriate family, who returned to Islamabad from Oslo, was deprived of foreign currency and credit cards allegedly by four private loaders at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Sunday.

Sajid Mehmood, who along with his family arrived at the airport on PIA’s flight PK-772, complained to the Airport Security Force (ASF) that as he along with his family came out of the airport four private loaders offered their help to carry the baggage towards the taxi stand.

He said he accepted their offer and allowed them to push the luggage trolley.

However, after hiring a taxi when he reached home he found a purse missing from the luggage.

He said the purse contained foreign currency worth Rs80,000 and credit cards.

Mr Mehmood returned to the airport and with the help of the ASF personnel traced the four private loaders and took them to the Airport police station.

The police have detained the four suspects and are investigating the case.
