Vehari: Teenaged girl raped

VEHARI: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two youths at Ahmedpur village in the Karampur police area of Mailsi, some 30km from here, on Saturday.

The girl, the daughter of a blind man, was abducted at gunpoint by the suspects as she was going to a madressah.

The suspects took her to a place on a motorcycle where they raped her. They threw her near a graveyard when she fell unconscious.

A passer-by informed her family who took her to the rural health centre.

Rapes in Pakistan will never stop until the tough and swear punishment is awarded to rapists . I have an idea of punishment and it will work with 100% guarantee once the entire nation become aware of the new law but our government will not inforce it because some politicians and rich and influential people will not be in favour of the new law to protect innocent victims. Your guess is good as mine.

Punjab government should take stern actions to catch and prosecute the accused, as rape cases are becoming too common in Punjab. These sic people are not even sparing the kids. Our legislators need to come up with a bill that gives these rapists the toughest punishment possible e.g. death by stoning.
