LAHORE: Police authorities on Sunday 'dismissed from service' two constables for allegedly plucking guava from Jati Umra farmhouse of the prime minister's residence, a city news channel reported.

Lahore Security Division DIG Muhammad Shahzad Sultan expressed ignorance about any such incident, saying the SP security might have information about it.

Jati Umra SP Security Junaid Arshad did not attend his mobile phone despite repeated attempts.

The news channel reported that on-duty constables Abid and Saifullah were fired after they were found eating guava from a tree in Jati Umra farmhouse. The security in-charge reprimanded the constables for doing so.
