LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed that the case of stoning of a married woman in front of the Lahore High Court be tried in an anti-terrorism court.

The chief minister issued instructions to the IGP to ensure maximum punishment to all the accused involved in this tragic incident. He also issued instructions for the early arrest of the remaining accused.

LHC: Taking notice of the same murder, the Lahore High Court has directed the district and sessions judge to ensure efficient and fair investigation into the case besides early arrest of the suspects.

Submitting an initial report, the D&SJ informed the LHC complaint cell that the father of deceased Farzana, 25, had already been arrested and police were after other suspects.
