The BDS was called in, after locals found the bound attached to an oil tanker.

The BDS team after inspection, evacuated the area and disabled the bomb by detonating it in a controlled explosion.

According to police, the bomb weighed nearly one kilogram.

A day earlier, two other blasts in oil tankers at the Keamari oil tanker had caused no casualties while another blast in an oil tanker near Gulbai chowk in Mauripur area wounded three persons.
