Sikandar Sultan Raja, the outgoing Director General of Passport and Immigration, said on Thursday his transfer as chief secretary Gilgit-Baltistan was a routine matter.

Mr Raja told Dawn that he had an excellent working relationship with the officials of the interior ministry and Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and had no differences as reported in the newspaper on Thursday. “In fact I have been able to implement a number of reforms and initiatives in immigration & passport department under the patronage and directed guidance of the interior minister.”
