RAHIM YAR KHAN: Three people were killed and 14 others injured in a van-truck collision on national highway near Kot Sabzal, some 58-km from here, on Wednesday.

Reports said a Sadiqabad-bound van collided with a truck near Umair filling station at Kot Sabzal as a result Haji Khan, 60, Amanat Mai, 49, and Shumaila, 7, were killed on the spot and 14 others suffered wounds.

Rescue 1122 shifted the injured to Shaikh Zayed Medical College Hospital and Sadiqabad THQ Hospital. Kot Sabzal police have registered a case and started investigation.
