Nation standing firm beside armed forces: PM

KAKUL: Addressing the passing out parade of the 129th Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Long Course on Saturday, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said the nation was standing firm beside the armed forces, DawnNews reported.

The premier, who was the chief guest at the occasion, during his address said that the young soldiers of the country possessed high moral fibre, adding that their profession demanded high level of dedication.

The prime minister said that to make the country’s defence impregnable the government would extend every possible help to the armed forces.

He moreover said equipping the armed forces with modern technology was the government’s responsibility.

Prime Minister Sharif also advised the cadets to not refrain from rendering great sacrifices in service to the motherland.

The premier expressed hope that one day Pakistan would overcome every difficult phase.

In his address, the prime minister also congratulated the young cadets on successful completion of their military training.
