SUKKUR: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and its ally in Jacobabad, the Jamot Qaumi Movement (JQM), organised a joint rally on Wednesday against registration of a ‘false’ case against local PML-N leader Mohammad Aslam Abro, Shehri Ittehad activist Mohammad Akram Abro and JQM leader Mujtaba Murad Abro on behalf of the state for alleged misuse of loudspeaker.

They and their 600 community members and supporters were booked after a big gathering in the town a few days back.

Carrying their respective party’s flags and banners, the rally participants marched through the streets of the town from Shaheed Allah Bukhsh Chowk to the local press club, where they held a sit-in chanting slogans against ‘political victimisation of opponents’ by the ruling party in Sindh and demanding withdrawal of the case.
