It all begun with a question to my friend: Where can I hear moments of silence in a city like Karachi? After being in the noisy, restlessness of Karachi for four months now, I had begun to wonder when and where I could find a little peace and quiet in this hub of life.

My friend suggested that the wee hours of the morning would be an ideal time to watch the city wake up and to listen to silence in the city

So, I embarked on a mini mission to capture Karachi at Dawn and at Dusk to see its transformation. I chose areas that were close to work like Saddar, Burns Road and the Pakistani Chowk because I have witnessed how crazy it can get after work hours. I wanted to see the beginnings of these hours of craziness. These are a selections of photos of the same/similar places from 6.50am - 8.00am and the same day at 6.50pm - 7.45pm
