LAHORE: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Tuesday conducted a full-scale emergency exercise at the Allama Iqbal International Airport.
The CAA fire and medical services used the latest technology in the exercise. The simulated injured in the fire drill were rescued from an aircraft and shifted to a makeshift medical camp and hospital.
The Punjab Emergency Services Rescue 1122, the army, air force, city district government, Pakistan International Airlines and ambulances of various hospitals and Edhi Foundation also participated in the exercise.
CAA General Manager Syed Aamir Mahboob appreciated the performance of all participant agencies/departments.
