Government school blown up in Hangu; watchman injured

HANGU: Unknown assailants blew up a government high school in Hangu’s Tora Warai area on Saturday, DawnNews reported.

According to police, explosive material was planted in three classrooms of the school which went off with a loud noise.

The attack also left the school's watchman injured. He was immediately shifted to a local hospital where his condition was reported as out of danger.

As a result of the blasts, three rooms of the school were badly damaged.

Following the explosion, police cordoned off the area and a search operation went underway.

Hangu borders the northwestern tribal region of Orakzai, one of Pakistan's seven lawless districts on the Afghan border considered to be the hub of Taliban and Al Qaeda-linked militants.

When they realsed the talks would not go their way...........they have started terror tactics again. The army should use the policy of 'if you kill one we will kill three ' ..... and then talk, if we must.

All the people of the world know that this is a campaign against the Pashtun Nation nothing else.The enemies of Pashtun Nation trying not just to kill the Pashtuns but they also are in trying to kill the education as well. We all Pashtuns have already felt that and hope the Almighty Allah will defeat our enemies and hope time will come soon In Sha Allah that.
