SUKKUR: Unknown miscreants made a botched attempt to exploding an 18 inch diametre Sui gas pipeline at the locality of Thal Gajrani in Dera Sarki police limits near Tangwani in district Kandhkot-Kashmore on Wednesday.

According to reports, the Dera Sarki police reached the spot and found a remote control and a battery there. The bomb disposal squad also arrived from Shikarpur and declared the area clear after a search.Talking to reporters on the occasion, police claimed to have arrested two watchmen who had allegedly staged this drama due to non-payment of salaries to them.

KIDNAP: Five unidentified armed persons kidnapped a man named Yar Ali Khoso from a shop where he was sleeping in the village of Rahim Dil Khoso in Bahoo Khoso police limits in Thull of district Jacobabad in the early hours of Wednesday.

Local people along with a footprint expert chased the kidnappers, but they disappeared on way to Balochistan.

No case of any kidnapping was registered at Bahoo Khoso police station till filing of this report.
