Army whip HBL in PPFL

KARACHI, Nov 21: Sadaf Iqbal and Ansar Abbas scored twice each as Pakistan Army hammered a hapless Habib Bank Limited (HBL) 4-0 in the lone Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) match here at the KMC Stadium on Thursday.

Both teams started the match level on points but Army’s victory helped them increase their tally to 21 points from 12 games so far. HBL, three points behind, have played 17 matches.

Sadaf opened the scoring in the 21st minute before Ansar doubled Army’s lead in the 34th before the strike duo completed their braces in the second-half. Sadaf made it 3-0 in the 70th before Ansar completed the rout in the final minute.
