MANSEHRA: Jamaat-i-Islami, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has declared Hakeemullah Mehsud and his associates killed in the recent drone strike as martyrs and demanded of the federal government to end its strategic alliance with America.
“Those killed in the recent drone attack are martyrs as they were eliminated when they were in the process of dialogue for permanent peace in Pakistan. America is following its own agenda without paying heed to the national interests of our country and the drone strike to sabotage the dialogue between the government and Taliban is an eye opener for the so-called patriots,” said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa JI chief Prof Mohammad Ibrahim while speaking to media persons after attending the oath-taking ceremony of zonal and union heads of the party here on Sunday.
Prof Ibrahim said that as a coalition partner in the KP government his party would support whatever steps the government would take to restrict drone strikes in future.
He said that the JI had no vendetta with any western country and wanted relations with these countries on the basis of equality and mutual respect.
He said that the Pakistani rulers should come up with a clear program to challenge the hegemony of America in the region.
“Now people have started to realise that America is not sincere with Pakistan and it has been protecting its own interests in the region,” he said.
Earlier, the JI provincial amir administered oath to newly-elected zonal and union heads and asked them to work for the betterment of people and the country through their work.
He said that masses would support the JI for its pro-people policies. He added that politics should be for a noble cause and helping those in need.
District JI amir Younus Khattak and Tariq Sherazi also spoke on the occasion.

Just goes to show that education has nothing to do with extremism. This professor is also a Taliban at heart with the only difference that he would not send his own children to madrassas and become a suicide bomber. Instead, he will send his own children to western professional education. Only the children of the illiterate shall be used as suicide bombers, is part of the Taliban apologists agenda.

Eaxctly when did this peace process begin? The last we heard from the Taliban, they had denied it. In fact that is how they justified the murder of the army General, that there was no ceasfire yet so it was ok to kill. Person who is responsible for killing army personnels, policemen, politicians and innocent civilians in thousands and deseroying schools and property is the biggest enemy of Pakistan and people of Pakistan. He and his assocaite Talibans have tarnished Pakistan and Islam immage.It was folly on the part of Government to expect sensible response from Talibans. In spite of offer of talk they continued killing.
Knowing fully that Americans are leaving Afghanistan by 2014 and the war is between Afghanistan government/USA and Afghanistan Talibsan there is no sense in destroying Pakistan. Jamat support for Taliban is out of fear and lack of political maturity.
Talibans demand is enforcement of their version of Shariat in Pakistan through their own government. Political parties in Pakistan should discuss in parliament their demand if majority of members agree with Talban demand then hand over Pakistan to Taliban peacefully without holding any meeting with them.

Absolutely rubbish; If America is against Pakistan and killed so called peace loving Taliban "Killers of thousands of innocents"; now if Govt is showing that they tried their best to stop America for drone attack, and the leaders of Taliban know whta pakistan position is; then why not they come forward and say Sorry we were on the wrong side and killed thousands of pakistani in retaliation of drone attack, although it is very clear America is killing his enemies not pakistan; so proof Mr Taliban you are on pakistan side not on her enemies side.

America has a history of killing TTP people who is willing to talk with Islamabad. The reason is as simple as it is horrifying, USA and India has a hand in supporting TTP from Afghanistan.
As for Hakimullah Mehsud, he is anything but a martyr. A cold blooded killer of Pakistani men, women and children. He will not be missed, especially by those whose loved one died by his hand.
Jamat Islami should seriously think one thousand times before showing support for terrorists. Jamat has lost my remaining confidance in them.

Jamaat-i-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkwa declared worst terrorist of this century martyrs so all innocent people he killed were infidels even our faith not allow us to kill like this . Jamaat forget that he was responsible of kidnapping 250 Pakistani soldiers in south waziristan. The hostages were eventually released- reportedly in exchange for dozens of Taliban prisoners but only after Shia Soldiers in their number had been beheaded, not only this his unhumain acts are long.

In my opinion those that get killed in killing taleban they are the real martyrs and these are the ones that demand respect it also includes the foreign troops particularly the american soldiers that lost their lives in order to save the local people from the wrath of talebans.

It is now proved beyond any doubt that Jamat e Islami and JUI were and are against the creation and existence of Pakistan. As per newspapers in Bharat,Pak,TTPis spearheading movement for imposition of sharia in Pak.Since Pakistan is an Islamic state it is presumed that sharia and not common or continental law shall apply.If no sharia no Islamic state.Problem seems in priviledges of politicians in present scheme of things.They swear day in and day out in the name of Islam but dont want sharia.Hypocrisy lies herein.Taliban is joint venture of U.S. and Pak though not TTP.
