‘A surprised PM’

Published September 15, 2013

Apropos the news item, ‘Political appointees in police: magnitude surprised PM’ (Sept 12), this is the second time the PM was surprised. The first time he was surprised was at the electricity generation problem.

One would imagine the PM to be more aware of these issues. During his past stints Sindh and Karachi in particular were suffering from this menace already.

A seasoned politician should have been aware of the problems of the country.
