THE US has now been making plans to attack Syria. The United Nations had sent a team to scrutinise the situation in Syria. However, some people attacked their car, so they decided to return.

In March 2003, the US attacked Iraq in which combined forces from the US, UK, Australia and other nations invaded Iraq and toppled the Ba’athist regime of Saddam Hussein.

Before the invasion, president George W. Bush claimed that Saddam was supporting terrorists and extremists, so the US was going to help the Iraqi people to release them from terrorism.

The US also attacked Afghanistan in 2001 to destroy the Taliban. American forces are still in Afghanistan.

What kind of war is this which could not be finished in the last 11 years?
