WE, residents of Davis Road (behind Muslim League House), are facing severe voltage fluctuation for many weeks. Various complaints have been lodged with the local Lesco office at Habibullah Road (042-36304520) and Lesco helpline (111 000 118, 0800 00 118) but of no use at all. Our complaints have fallen on deaf ears.

The fluctuation has become so severe that airconditioners do not work at night and electronic gadgets are damaged. Recently fluctuation caused my cellphone charger to burn out, the fridge’s compressor makes erratic sounds and even energy savers are not spared.

I called the local Lesco office desperately before, during and after Sehri time. They initially engaged their number and later did not bother to pick up my call. The Lesco helpline did not respond either. Who is to be blamed for all this?

I earnestly request the Lesco to pay heed to our problem at the earliest.
