Butt discusses PAF’s needs with Dar

ISLAMABAD: Development needs of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and its financial matters were discussed at a meeting held here on Saturday between Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
Mr Dar told the air chief that the government attached top priority to matters relating to national security and all needs of the armed forces, including the PAF, would be met.
According to a press release issued by the finance minister’s office, the air chief assured the minister that the PAF would replicate the government’s austerity measures without compromising its operational readiness.

I am sure curbing the practise of buying luxury vehicles for personal use and building huge luxury residential complexes in the most expensive localities e.g. sector E-9 Islamabad won't compromise PAF's operational readiness

Dar sahib should make it clear to real forces that government is attaching top priority to national security but not their Defence Housing Authorities where armed forces enjoy their personal peace and financial security. While common people suffering, armed forces are living in islands of prosperity at the expense of public funds.

Pakistan does not need an armed forces. It is a part of India created through a monumental blunder that must be rectified. Pakistan should become a fully autonomous state of the Union of India with controls on population movement and a vision to connect over the long term when pakistani people are educated about their culture and civilization.

Where was operational readiness when US attacked Abbotabad on 2 May 2011 and subsequent militant attacks in which PC3 Orions were destroyed. Butt sahib those words don't suit your face in aftermath of those incidents. However, poor Dar sahib has no option but to accept Air Forces financial requirements on gun point. A hostage nation, aren't we?
