Haq, savagely attacked in an Indian jail last week died early May 9, 2013, from his injuries. He suffered massive head injuries in a prison in the northern city of Jammu in an apparent tit-for-tat attack after an Indian prisoner, Sarabjit Singh, was fatally assaulted in Pakistan.

Pakistan's tough tour of South Africa has put them in the right mindset for the Champions Trophy, captain Misbah-ul-Haq said on May 8 after a training camp aimed at attuning the team to English conditions.

Three people fell from the 13-storey LDA plaza situated on Lahore’s Edgerton road on Thursday, May 9, trying to avoid a fire that engulfed the building, DawnNews reported. In total at least eight people have now died in the tragedy.
