KARACHI, July 8: A ship carrying containers arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, said a PQA release.

Meanwhile seven ships carrying furnace oil, cement, edible oil and containers also arrived at the outer anchorage. Five ships Maersk Denver, Faith, Pearl’s of Jebel Ali, Quetta and Golden Ambrosia were busy in loading and offloading containers, cement, iron ore, furnace oil and edible oil.

A cargo volume of 69059 tonnes comprising 11298 tonnes of import and 2961 tonnes of export was handled.
