NEW DELHI: Amitabh Bachan, Bollywood's biggest star, says he is willing to explore more Hollywood movies after his first small role in ''The Great Gatsby,'' a 3-D extravaganza starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
Bachan says he has never been offered Hollywood films before. The 71-year-old said that at his age, it is difficult to expect that certain roles will come his way. ''But yes, if there are people who want to cast me, I don't mind if something is offered,'' the Hindustan Times newspaper quoted him as saying in an interview published Tuesday.
The Indian screen legend has acted in more than 180 Indian films in a career spanning four decades.

He would make a great villain in a James Bond or a Star Trek movie.

He looks way older than Bruce Willis. Besides, he just won't be able to match Bruce Willis' humorous remarks and the way he delivers them under dangerous, life threatening situations. Bruce Willis owns Die Hard. Amitabh would look better singing his way out of a dangerous situation. Would that be acceptable to the Die hard fans of Die Hard movies?

He is a good replacement for Michael Douglas. He is charismatic, good looking and his voice has magic.

Big B is a much better actor than most global actors, Hollywood included. Its a shame that he did act as a lead in a major Hollywood blockbuster.....If you need any proof, just look at his acting in Sholay....

Maybe he can take over from Bruce Willis who really seems to be aging for the Die Hard roles.

What a down to earth and truthful person to admit he was not offered the role before. We know many extra level actors claim often turning down Hollywood offer.
Great remains great even if offered from Hollywood or not.
