11 outlaws arrested

ISLAMABAD, Jan 22: The capital police on Tuesday arrested 11 outlaws, including two women, and seized narcotics, liquor and weapons from them, a police spokesman said.

The Tarnol police arrested six persons, including two women, and seized heroin weighing 1.4kg and charas weighing 3.4kg besides pistols and bullets.

Similarly, Margalla police arrested a man in G-8/1 and found 121gms heroin in his possession. Sabzi Mandi police during routine checking on I.J. Principal Road intercepted a vehicle on which a police revolving light was mounted.

The four occupants of the car introduced themselves as law enforcement agencies officials but during inquiry they failed to produce any evidence. On searching the vehicle, the police found two bottles of wine.

Aabpara and Banigala police arrested seven suspects during search in their areas. They were arrested after they failed to produce their identification documents. —Staff Reporter
