LARKANA, Nov 4: The Warah police have booked more than a dozen people, including a DSP Shafquat Cholyani, for the killing of four people in an armed clash on Saturday.

Three separate FIRs were registered on Sunday for the killing of Fahad Cholyani, Saifullah Cholyani, Deedar Cholyani and Hussain Cholyani.

The brother of Hussain Cholyani, Mujeebur Rehman, registered an FIR against DSP Shafqat Hussain Cholyani — currently posted in Karachi —Zulfikar, Zubair, Bashir, Jawed and Maqsood. Fahad was murdered after he was pulled out from an auto rickshaw near Gul Buriro village.

The father of Deedar Choloyani, Imam Ali, registered another FIR and nominated Awais, Manzoor Cholyani, Khalid, Bhalidino, Hussain and other men who were booked under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

The third FIR was registered for Fahad Cholyani, who was killed in a gun fight with Sajjad Cholyani, by ASI Ghulam Haider Khokhar.

The police have arrested two suspects, Sajjad and Maqsood Cholyani, while they continue searching for more. The deceased were buried on Sunday and their funeral prayers were led by spiritual leader Syed Hussain Shah Bukhari, as the area remained tensed.—BoC
