GUJRANWALA, Oct 24: A man allegedly tortured his 10-year-old son to death for not giving up smoking here on Wednesday.
Muhammad Nasir, a resident of Jhangi village, forbade his son Ali Akbar from keeping a bad company and smoking. Seeing his son smoking, Nasir thrashed Ali with a rod and the injured child was shifted to DHQ Hospital, where he died.
The Ferozewala police registered a case against Nasir and arrested him.
