RAWALPINDI, Feb 12: Police on Sunday solved the mystery surrounding the murder of a young girl whose body was found stuffed in a sack in Gulistan Colony on Feb 3 and arrested a house servant and his accomplice who confessed to raping and murdering the girl, police said.

Nazia Perveen 22 had been missing since she left her home for teaching the Holy Quran to children in the street. Later her body was found stuffed in a sack.

The arrest of the alleged killers came about after Police got the cell phone data of the deceased girl. She had been in contact with one Asim, a house servant.

According to Police, as the girl left her house, she went to the house where Asim served. As she reached there, she was tied with a rope and later was allegedly raped by Asim and his friend Mohammad Younas.

Police said the girl was killed after she threatened them to report the crime to her parents. She was hit in the head and the injury claimed her life. Later her body was stuffed in a sack and thrown at a deserted place.

Police said as the murder investigation was started the call data of the girl’s cell phone was obtained which revealed the cell phone number of Asim who had developed friendship with the girl. Before she went missing, she had received a call from Asim who asked her to come to his house as his employer had gone to Lahore.
