Two acquitted

GUJAR KHAN, Nov 24: Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Naveed Iqbal acquitted two persons allegedly involved in a murder case by giving them benefit of doubt.

The sources said that Kashif Gulfraz and Asim Ali were arrested by the local police on the complaint of Zahfran Ahmed as he alleged that his brother Mohammad Shahzad was killed on August 19, 2009. He said that his brother had gone with them at night and the next day he was found murdered. The learned judge after hearing both the parties through their counsels acquitted both the accused for want of evidence.— Correspondent
