LAHORE: The Lahore Registry of the Supreme Court on Tuesday directed the anti-corruption department to dismiss a corruption case filed against Nawaz Sharif, DawnNews reported.

General (retd) K M Arif had filed an application in 1990 in which he had stated that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief had distributed plots to his friends.

Following which, the anti-corruption department had registered a corruption case against Mr Sharif.
