SHIKARPUR, April 21: Four people died and two others received bullet injuries in armed clashes that took place in taluka Garhi Yasin and Khanpur.

One Imam Bux Brohi was gunned down by his rival Jatois when he was working on a wheat thresher near Wada Kehar Village in the jurisdiction of Gaheja police station on Wednesday night.

A group of armed men from Jatoi clan had opened fire at

the sitting room (autaq) of Anwar Ali Arain in Khanpur late on Wednesday night. Two people identified as Abdul Shakoor Arain and Fayaz Ali Channa were seriously injured.

Abdul Shakoor succumbed to his injuries at the Civil Hospital, Larkana. Condition of Fayaz Ali is reported to be stable.

Today's incident is continuation of a dispute that began after death of a Jatoi tribesman in Khanpur bazaar during robbery attempt a couple of days ago.

Earlier, an armed clash took place between Arains and Jatois in Khanpur town in which four people had died and some others injured.

So far, seven people from both sides had been killed during the deadly clashes.

Meanwhile, two people -- Ghulam Hussain Teghani and Qurban Ali Teghani—died and another one, whose name could not be ascertained, received injuries.

The Teghanis and Ogahis had clashed in the Shahban Teghani Village in taluka Khanpur on Thursday.

The motive behind the clash is linked to a dispute that had been going on between the two tribes after a theft incident which took place a couple of years ago.

So far over 107 people from both sides had lost their lives. No FIR was lodged till filing of this report.
