Doctor kidnapped

CHAKWAL, March 1: Five men kidnapped a doctor from his clinic in Talagang city on Monday evening, police said. Dawn

“Two of the kidnappers first came to clinic as patients. They left after Dr Jamshed checked them,” Asif, a helper at the clinic, told .

“They came back with three other persons. They were armed and masked,” he said. “They threw Dr Jamshed into a car parked outside the clinic and left.” Asif said he recognised the two who first visited the clinic as patients through their clothes and shoes.

Ruling out enmity with anyone, Javed, a brother of the doctor, maintained his brother has been kidnapped for ransom, but added that the family had so far not received any call or message from kidnappers. — Correspondent
