TAXILA, Feb 5: A body of an elderly woman was found lying at a deserted place in sector 25 in the jurisdiction of Wah Cantt police station on Saturday evening.
Police sources said a passerby found the body of the woman and informed the police.
A police party reached the spot and shifted the body to a local hospital where she was identified as Pukhraj Bibi, 65, resident of sector 25. The police believed that the woman was killed during a robbery incident as gold ornaments and cash were found missing.
