LAHORE, Jan 13: Faisalabad Whites drew 1-1 with Sahiwal at RB 243 Ground, Faisalabad, while Karachi Yellows and Karachi Greens ended their match with a 0-0 score line at Peoples Sports Complex, Karachi as six more matches were decided in the PFF U-13 Youth Cup.

In the first match, the home team was well on its way to win through their 17th minute goal, scored by winger Zeeshan Ali but Sahiwal replied through Naqar Abbas’s 56th strike as both teams earned one point each.

Both goals in the Sargodha-Sialkot Greens match emerged in the second session as the match ended 1-1. Sargodha stopped the goal draught in the 54th minute through striker Asim Ahmed’s goal at Lahore’s PEL Ground. But their joy was short-lived as midfielder Arsalan Nazar brought the game on level terms for Sialkot.

Despite playing on their home ground, Lahore Greens failed to show any kind of impression and lost 0-4 to Sialkot Blues at the University Ground, Old Campus, Chauburji in Lahore. Spearhead Bilal Khalid became hero for Sialkot Blues with a brace in the 10th and 52nd minutes. The rout was completed by Faisal Tito (20th min) and Nisar Ahmed (39th min).

Peshawar Reds suffered a 0-1 sensation at the hands of Dir at Peshawar’s Civil Quarters Ground. The home team had to blame themselves for the defeat as they had fumbled several sitters. Dir’s winger Mohammad Irfan struck the solitary goal against the run of play in the 32nd minute.

Bannu smashed a 3-0 win over Peshawar Greens at Peshawar’s Tehmas Khan Stadium. Bannu, who led 2-0 at interval, earned a gifted goal in the 23rd minute when an own goal gave them the lead. It was all over for Greens when left-winger Rafiullah capitalised on two solo efforts in the 33rd and 45th minutes.

Wednesday’s fixtures: Faisalabad Reds v Faisalabad Whites (University of Agriculture Ground, Faisalabad, at 3.00pm), Karachi Reds v Jacobabad (Korangi Baloch Stadium, Karachi, at 1.00pm), Karachi Greens v Quetta Yellows (Korangi Baloch Stadium at 3.00pm), Lahore Reds v Sargodha (PEL Ground, Lahore at 3.00pm), Lahore Whites v Sialkot Blues (Railway Stadium, Lahore, at 3.00pm), Nowshera v Dir (Farooq Stadium, Nowshera, at 3.00pm), Peshawar Whites v Islamabad (Tehmas Khan Stadium, Peshawar, at 3.00pm).—Agencies
