KHAIRPUR, Jan 13: Hindu traders, on the call of their Panchayat, continued a shutter down strike on the second day in protest against illegal occupation of temple property by some influential people.

A large number of traders and their community men led by Mukhi Kirpal Das, Sham Lal, Dr Jaipal Das also staged a protest demonstration. They said that the Hindu community was being harassed and pressurised to migrate from the area. They added that none of the authorities concerned were there to listen and resolve their problem.
