KARACHI, Jan 2: Mustafa Zaidi and Basit Gabol survived a scare against their respective opponents on way to reaching the next round in men’s singles of the Sindh ranking tennis championship at the Southend Club courts on Friday.

Mustafa, after conceding the opener struggled to carve out a 6-7, 6-3, 6-1 victory over Omer Shahid Maniya while Basit sweat for over three hours to post 7-5, 3-6, 7-6 victory over Abdullah Khan.
