PESHAWAR, Jan 1: The government and private schools in the NWFP will remain closed from Jan 2 to Jan 10 in respect of the holy month of Muharram, according to a notification issued here on Thursday by the Elementary and Secondary Education Department of the NWFP.
Meanwhile, the provincial government has declared 7th and 8th of January as closed holidays marking the Ashura, says a notification issued by the administration department NWFP. — APP
