Port Qasim


KARACHI, Dec 3: Two ships Maersk Dulles and Rose-II scheduled to load, offload containers and cement were berthed at the Qasim International Container Terminal and Multi Purpose Terminal, respectively, while four more ships carrying containers, chemicals and palm oil also arrived at the outer anchorage of Port Qasim during the last 24 hours.

A total of five ships Maersk Dulles, Super Star-III, Alex-III, Rose-II and Sea Sky are currently occupying berths to load, offload containers, cement and furnace oil respectively during the report period.

A cargo volume of 65,469 tons, comprising 41,819 tons imports and 23,650 tons exports, inclusive of containerised cargo 1,875 containers (TEUs), was handled at the port during the last 24 hours.

Three ships Tan Binh-24, Maersk Dulles and Sea Sky sailed out to sea during the last 24 hours.—APP
