QUETTA, Nov 25: Six people, including a woman constable and a lawyer, were injured when a bomb exploded in Dera Murad Jamali on Tuesday.

Sources said the bomb had been attached to a motorcycle parked outside the sessions court building.

Law-enforcement personnel took the injured to the Dera Murad Jamali civil hospital.

Two of the injured were later taken to Larkana.

Parts of the sessions court building were damaged in the blast.

Six vehicles parked outside the building were also damaged.

“The bomb was detonated by remote control,” DPO Nasibullah Khoso said.

The injured were identified as constable Ayisha Bibi, Advocate Shabir Sherazi, Imam Bakhsh, Sahib Jan, Mir Mohammad and Noor Ahmed.

Meanwhile, a pro-government Bugti tribal elder escaped an attempt on his life in Mohammad Colony of Sui.
