KARACHI, Nov 18: Only one out of the three KASB Premier League Football matches played at the CDGK Stadium on Monday brought result when Nazimabad FC beat Hazara Mohammadan 2-0 while Ghani XI and Mauripur Baloch drew 1-1 and Gharib Nawaz Dalmia held Karachi Kickers 2-2.

This was Nazimabad FC’s sixth win. Their striker Hameed Afridi (11th minute) and skipper and winger Atif Fatah (48th minute) scored one goal each for them after several missed opportunities.

In the other match, Ghani XI were 1-0 until the 90th minute when Mauripur Baloch restored parity to draw the match. Right-winger Zaheer Ahmed scored for Ghani in the 43th minute and midfielder Abdul Samad brought in the equaliser just a few seconds before the final whistle.

Meanwhile, the score line in the Gharib Nawaz Dalmia and Karachi Kickers encounter was 2-1 at halftime.

Front runner Mohammad Saeed scored for Gharib Nawaz in the 13th minute but midfielder Mohammad Khan got the pressure off Karachi Kickers in the 16th minute. Gharib Nawaz got ahead once again in the 25th minute through their midfielder Ali Mehr.

The 56th minute saw Karachi Kickers getting a penalty kick as a result of a hand ball infringement when Ali Mehr accidentally touched the ball in the box while making a save. The kick was easily converted by Mohmmad Khan.
