Shahbaz off to China

LAHORE, Nov 16: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday left for China on a five-day visit.

Talking to reporters at the Allama Iqbal International Airport, he said he was making for China with a ‘small delegation’ on the invitation of the Chinese government where cooperation of investors for promotion of agriculture, irrigation, energy, physical infrastructure, solid waste and other sectors would be sought.

He said China had an important place in the industrial field and “we will also try to get technical assistance for various projects”.
