Sajedul recalled for SA Tests

DHAKA, Nov 15: Bangladesh have recalled left-arm pacer Sajedul Islam to the squad for a two-match Test series against South Africa starting next week, a Bangladesh Cricket Board official said on Saturday.

Sajedul will replace pace bowler Syed Rasel, who aggravated a back injury after the one-day series in South Africa won 2-0 by the hosts on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old Sajedul played two Tests and took three wickets in New Zealand in January.

The first Test starts in Bloemfontein on Wednesday.
