KARACHI, Nov 3: District Central champions Maymar Sports outclassed Usmanabad Union 4-2 as Mauripur Baloch thrashed Gharib Nawaz Dalmia 4-0 in the two KASB Premier League Football (PLF) matches played at the CDGK Stadium on Sunday.

The 32nd minute brought Maymar their first goal when their striker Mohammad Nasim dodged two players on his right to send the ball into the goal from an extremely difficult angle.

And the lead was doubled in the next seven minutes when striker Nur Ali, upon noticing Usmanabad’s goalkeeper Ibrahim Baloch rushing out to block him, wasted no time in swiftly kicking the ball in from just outside the box to make the score 2-0 at interval. The second session saw Usmanabad Union’s substitute striker Ayaz Baloch converting a penalty kick to reduce the deficit to 1-2 in the 49th minute.

The 57th minute saw another penalty kick, this time for Maymar Sports, being converted by their midfielder Mohammad Amin. But Usmanabad fought back with their striker Ayaz Baloch scoring for them again in the 67th to bring the score line to 2-3.

Maymar then went up again in the 69th minute through their striker Amin Khan to finally beat their opponents by two goals.

In the other match, Gharib Nawaz Dalmia stood up to their mighty rivals Mauripur Baloch in the first half when they only allowed them to score once, in the third minute, through their defender Abid Ghafoor.

But the second half was a different story altogether when midfielder Nawaz Rehman (47th minute), and strikers Sameer Jahangir and Mohammad Hanif scored in the 69th and 70th minute, respectively, to win the match 4-0.
