KARACHI, Nov 3: Bestway Cement has posted a profit-after-tax of Rs319.649 million for the first quarter of 2008-09 but did not announce dividend.

According to financial results of the company despatched to Karachi Stock Exchange on Monday, the gross profit was estimated at Rs418.873 million for the period ending September 2008.

The earning per share has stood at Rs1.13 during the period under review.—APP
